HIS EMINENCE CARDINAL JOHN B. WU CHENG-CHUNG
BISHOP OF THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE OF HONG KONG
was called by God to his eternal reward at Queen Mary Hospital on 23 September 2002, aged 77.
Funeral arrangements are as follows:
1. A book of condolences will be kept at the Catholic Diocese Centre, 16 Caine Road, Hong Kong from 24 September (Tuesday) to 25 September (Wednesday), from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
2. the body of the late Cardinal will lie in state in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Caine Road, from 27 September, 3:00 pm until the end of the Requieum Mass.
3. A vigil Mass will be concelebrated in the Cathedral on 27 September (Friday) at 8:00 pm.
4. A Requiem Mass will be concelebrated in the Cathedral on 28 September (Saturday) at 10:oo am, followed by burial at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Happy Valley.
